 Year In Review

       -2020-

Editors' Note:
Notebook and Fountain Pen

Dear Readers,

Succeeding a strenuous year that was 2020, and two months in the making, we've compiled works from students influenced by last year's events.

Con't...

Fiction Pieces
Sunset Over Manhattan

"He wakes me up just to kiss me goodbye. And as I watch him leave, I stretch my arms. He fades, and almost in a slow explosion, shades of pink and orange cascade against the sky. The same way watercolor paints look when I dip my paintbrush in them and press it against wet paper."

Excerpt of Night Owl by Emerson Martin

Non-Fiction
Dakota%20O%20photo_edited.jpg

"We all expect change. We will never know the size or the extent of the changes, but they are always happening. No matter how many changes we have gone through, nothing could have prepared the world for what was about to hit us."

Excerpt of Changes by Dakota Osarczuk

Poetry
Circus Elephant

"They sent home all the entertainers and show horses

Everyone went home and locked their doors

Nobody was seen for months

These were the longest months of our lives."
